A licensed psychologist in Georgia and certified coach, I maintain a life coaching and psychotherapy practice. Coaching people who are moving forward to attain their most desired goals is tremendously exciting work. I am an International Coach Federation Associate Certified Coach and a Certified MentorCoach. I have practiced psychotherapy for over 25 years and have been coaching for over 10 years.
Having successfully transitioned many times in a variety of ways in my life, I enjoy working with people who are involved in transitions like divorce, empty-nest syndrome and relocation. As a parent, small business owner, runner, health conscious consumer, yoga student, and arts enthusiast, I bring a unique perspective to my work. I have a particular passion for the issues single, professional parents face when they juggle children, careers, and their social lives. My excitement about health and wellness goals energizes clients working on making lifestyle changes.
My writing about post-divorce adjustment, dating, health and wellness, and positive psychology has appeared on various websites, including YourTango, eHarmony, Yahoo! Beauty and Style, DatingAdvice, Care2, ThoughtCatalogue, PsychCentral and Women's Health Magazine. I've been quoted on WebMD, Huffington Post, YourTango and Cosmopolitan.
I earned my Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Vermont. My coach training was done through MentorCoach.
